Children

I met a woman, her name was Sanyu. She was a 40 year old Ugandan from Pasadena, California. I met her at Lauterstein-Conway Massage School this weekend and we really hit it off. I let her stay the night at my crappy apartment on Riverside and she said my place was cute. She didn’t drink and I loved that about her. She told me incredible stories about her life, and I told her mine. I love storytelling, it’s my favorite thing in the world. And I enjoy listening to them, especially if you’re a good at sharing. There was one in particular that was beautiful. She described in detail about the birth of all her children. Not so much the physical detail but the emotions she was going through. She talked about the struggles of being a single mother and raising them. I think children become better people when they don’t have the best of the best. It was so inspiring and it made me want to raise kids one day. But not anytime soon.
